Actually, my first bike was a 1987 CBR600 Hurricane that I bought new. When I sold it in 1996 it had a whopping 139,000 miles on it.

I heard the same from many friends. This is my 4th car that i've financed and i've had a car payment ever since i was 20...so it's going on almost 8 years of continuous car payments...and it's gone up a considerable amount every single time....

My '11 just hit its year anniversary about a month ago now, and I just past 28K. I feel exactly the same way.

The rarity of the ISF helps the car hold its value well. Even with your mileage I wouldn't be concerned, the car is meant to be driven and won't depreciate like a Maserati.
The car has depreciated quite a bit since new. It's just that you yourself didn't experience the depreciation as it was the original purchaser who had that pleasure.

Pretty much lol. It was my only mode of transport. I commuted from Palm Springs to Hemet approx 70 miles to work each day. Then approx 300 miles roundtrip riding to Willows Springs to work at the track on the weekends. The worst part being, my 9-5 job was driving a big rig lol, so I was literally on the road non-stop, 18/7. It def sucked at times.

What's ironic, and to get kind of back on topic regarding depreciation/mileage, I ended up getting $200 more for the CBR600 after 139K miles than I had bought it for originally. I've found that bikes are different than cars that way - custom paint, clean mods, and proper records of maintenance go a long way in getting your money back out of them.
