Yeah I've read about that in the past. Thanks for the heads up but I'm actually gonna paint my calipers.

(something to do with the high heat or something to bake the powdercoat..... although this doesn't make a lot of sense to me as don't our brakes get hot as hell esp. at the track?)

This info is great! I'm looking at painting my smg calipers. I would like a shade of red ( maybe darker), any opinions? Not a lot of high end car mod places here in Raleigh, should do I go with powder coat? Can you keep the Lexus emblem on the calipers? Thanks for the help, didn't mean to steal the thread. Your finished product looks amazing!

Can't go with powder coating as the caliper cannot withstand it. The pictures actually don't do the finish justice as they rival the paint on the car. You will have to have them painted then apply the decal, then shot with clear if you want to follow the process the shop did on mine. If you can't find a local shop with a google search that has experience with them, you could have a shop take the calipers off (or you if you are handy) and send them off. RACperformance in Dallas did mine and they specialize in high end cars and they do this and a whole lot more! Check out their web site.

Thanks everyone, since my car is black and wheels are graphite, I wanted something that would help those manly Brembo's stand out rather than the black. I am pretty **** and had a prestine wax job at all times on the original black calipers but they just did not pop!

Default Using G2 Product

Has anyone painted 2 wheels one day and the other 2 the next day? Or is it to be all 4 on the same day because the paint cures.
