Default Weds SA55M or Enkei PF01

I've placed an order yesterday for a set of Enkei with Toyo tiers and the seller came back to me saying that the Enkeis are on back order.
He is suggesting Weds SA55M in BBM ,18x9 +36.
They are 1lb lighter than Enkei (18x9.5 +45) and cost $700 more
Any one running Weds?
Is it worth it to pay $700 more for them?

Find a different seller that may have them in stock? $700 to save 1lb is pretty pricey. You could probably save that much weight by taking a huge dump before your track days.

I have the weds SA-60M and although they're nice and light I dont think i'll get a non forged rim again.. The sa-55m in bbm are really cool looking though..

I run 18's for winter. Decreasing rim size for task specific reasons is never a bad idea.

I need a set for track. The Enkei PF01 square setup was recommended to me and much talked about here. I don't know much about the Weds SA55M though!
Again, I'm looking for the best set for track. I'm not sure I want to pay $700 more for the Weds unless someone confirms to me that the result is worth it.

^ Get Enkei for 0.5" wider all around and better price.

But SA55M is 1lb lighter, are you kidding me? you can save 4 lbs easy after visiting washroom!

Save $700 for tires please!

I found a better deal. Here's what I'm buying:
4x Enkei PF01 18x9.5 5x114.3 +45
4x Center caps
4x Toyo R888 285/30/18
4x Enkei valve stem
4x mounting and balancing
All @ $ 2,700 I think the price is great!

I'm also buying NRG aluminum light weight lug nuts in red
Also considering an Injen intake

I can chime in. I just bought the sa-55s about 3 weeks ago. First off the rims are sold as a black rim the inner spoke appears to be an anodized blue but the outside of the rim is shot black and has a blue clear coat making the rims appear purple in direct sun... Not necessarily a bad thing if you want purple rims secondly I upsized to a 245 35 19 up front and a 275 30 19 in the rear continental dws. I already have rock chips on the rear lead edge of the spokes. Rims are 19x9 and 19x10. I'm new to the board so i'll get pictures posted up. If I could do it again, for strictly weight savings yea I'd buy them. for daily drivability and looks/longevity no. I bought mine from ravspeconline.com great people to work with. Mark chin was the guy I purchased from. Got mine for 2400 shipped. Hope that helps?
