Hey just found a nice little product that does what it says for once. It's a exclusive detailer spray for black cars made by turtle wax. I was kind of weary of using it since it's made by turtle wax but it turned out to be awesome. It was only like 8 to 9 bucks at walmart and really gives the car a deep wet look and repels dust as well. I am ocd about keeping the car clean and I bet you guys are too, so I thought I'd pass the info along.

I know I sound like some kind of turtle wax rep but it is really that good! (check my post history LOL)

I'm pretty particular about my Obsidian F as well. I know of the Turtle Wax Black Box, but I'm not familiar with the product you've tried out. It's always nice to get a great shine, even without doing a full on detail on the F.

I have no problem with Turtle Wax products. I have a lot of them and most, if not all of them work great.

Is this deferent from Turtle Wax "Black Box"? Sounds like just the spray detailer bottle out of that kit.

Yeah I think your right...sorry i haven't used the "black box." The only difference in what I bought is that the spray bottle is a lot bigger and more "windex" shaped than whats pictured in the "black box."

They need to come out with Turtle Wax Smoky Granite Mica Detailer LOL, i have seen the black detailer on a GT500 and it looks amazing!! its like looking into a mirror, i was shocked!!

Thats a good idea LOL...but since you dont have black, I'd recommend Meguir's Ultimate Quick Detailer... It should give you the same effect. Meguir's worked well on my car but the turtle wax black detailer is better for me since its specified to a single car color.

I used the Turtle Wax Black Box kit last night on my Obsidian F and it was great! It really brings out the shine. In the kit is liquid pre-wax cleaner, liquid carnuba wax, and black detailer spray (two bottles), and two applicator pads. It was $20 at Autozone. Also, EVERYTHING is black, so it helps to cover up those nicks and rock chips on the front bumper. I highly recommend this for Obsidian F owners.
