Red Caliper opinions

5 Attachment(s)
I'm thinking about doing my calipers in red. What do you guys think? I can't find any pics of a black ISF with red calipers. I really like red calipers, I think the red calipers would be a good contrasting color since my car is really blacked out right now and it's giving it kind of a monochromatic effect that I would like to put an end to. But, I like my car being clean and not visually offending so that's why I'm looking for some opinions. Thanks.

I'm also partially wanting to do this because I'm planning on buying a GTR by the end of the year and I know that I'm definitely going to paint those calipers. So, if this black/red combo looks good, I'll probably get a black GTR and do those calipers in red.

Here are some pics as food for thought.

that's what I'm thinking, I don't think I could do any other color because I meet with a lot of clients and red is a classic color for brakes, which pretty much any other color is obscene in that regards.

I will be painting my calipers UBM but I also have a silver car.

I think red looks great. Like you said, a nice, classic contrast to the black. I say go for it.

I think it'll look good. Here's mine painted MRM. It's not a true red but close enough.

My vote is for red. It'll look really good on all the neutral colors (white, gray, silver, black).

And T-Rex06, that looks legit!

On black my first choice would be Red for sure but Yellow also looks very good.

Red is always clean and classy

How do you guys paint them but keep the lettering? Send it in professionally? Just tape? Vaseline?

i have a black isf with yellow calipers....i thought about orange, neon green, and yellow. decided on yellow. I feel that orange or green would look cool, but like you said not classy. Red or yellow are pretty normal and standard caliper colors for brembo (red, yellow, silver, black......those are the main four). I thought about red also, but the most common and signature color for brembo is red. i wanted something a lil different, but still classy brembo. although i chose yellow and said everything i just said, I think you should do red. It would totally set it off, and be classic brembo. especially if you have a matching black gtr with red calipers next to it ;)

The red looks great with the black car. I say go for it because they will really pop but still be classy.
