Obsidian detailing

I had the same problem. The Porsche dealer claimed they hand washed when I took it to them for a track inspection (required for PCA events), but they definitely did not hand wash it. Add to this road paint from the road project in front of my subdivision, and finally, damage from the track (CMP is pretty sandy). The detailer did a great job (I suck at body work and I admit it). This is from the meet in Atlanta last Saturday:
The bumper and hood are still covered with micro-sized chips in the clear and a couple of pretty good chips down to the white, but it looks vastly better. I've been driving my Supra when it rains just to keep it looking nice for awhile...

Well, it has been like that since I bought it, the dealer had it detailled before I collect it and that was the result. I planned on getting it done properly for a long time but never took the time until now

Same here. I got my 2011 this past December so I'm assuming the dealer had it for at least a few months. Decent amount of swirlage going on.

I see, there are so many people out there that honestly do not know how to take care of black paint. Glad to see you get it back on track as black needs that extra attention or no sense having black.
