Default Tow hook Question

I have a GrimmSpeed Front Plate Holder and wanted to install it. I popped the two hook cover but it's still attached because of a plastic string piece, for people who installed a tow hook plate holder did you cut the plastic part off?

You should be able to slide it off. From the inside of the tow cover, there should be two pieces at the end of the string piece. Aim those pieces through the hole where the string piece is attached, and it should come out with ease.

haha, just figured that out. I was stupid! Tried to take it off at night and couldn't see the pieces. Thanks!

I put it on and it looks kind of off but still better than drills in the bumper. Just hope it doesn't move around and ding the bumper.
