ISF: True Cost to Own
#31
I have 2012 IS-F
1) My car city/highway combine is about 19-20 MPG
2) My Insurance is $830 year, but I am 23 years old
3) No Oil change for me yet, but I guess would be $100 each 5K miles
4) No Repair

1. The IS-F sucks fuel out of the tank, especially if you drive it hard. Im usually down in 11-12 mpg range. You can get 17-18 on the highway...
2. My insurance isn't bad at all. I'm paying 1,350 a year and that's in a big city. My record is spotless though..
3. The big maintenance on the IS-F is the brake pads, rotors, and tires. Again, how hard you drive it makes a big difference.
4. I have an 08 and haven't needed a single repair. (Cross my fingers). Some idiot scraped my bumper in a parking lot and that cost me 350 bucks though...

11-12 mpg isn't driving hard. It's driving hard on the street. The F gets 5.3 mpg at the track. That's driving hard.
