Default ISS Forged DES Super Street Review!!

After making ISS Forged aware of the sound of the track set up mixed with a race header on the IS-F, ISS Forged immediately began the design of an alternative that was much more ear friendly. Im proud to say I have the first one and very proud to say that ISS Forged has done it again! The fitment, look and SOUND most of all is absolutely amazing! Anyone concerned with the sound of exhaust while having headers can now put their minds to rest.

I received my exhaust Friday Morning and had it installed later that afternoon. My main focus/ issue with the track set up was the inside drone that was absolutely unbearable at certain rpm's. Well its gone completely! I drove the car hard almost one full tank of gas paying close attention to all rpm's. I know my neighbors will love me again haha. The interior of the car has 0 rattles now and I can drive in drive mode at very low rpms with 0 harsh sound to the ears. This is absolutely amazing and the sound is sooooo crisp and clean! I will post a sound clip asap, but take it from me. Its a winner!!!

0 DRONE AT ALL RPMS, 0 INTERIOR RATTLE/ VIBRATIONS, MATED WITH SIKKY HEADERS!

Off with the ridiculous loud!

Flawless Fitment!

New mid section with resonators.

Tip fitment and Alignment is Perfect!

Do you really get no drone at all?

I was planning on doing this same setup, Sikky Headers + this exhaust.

What part of Texas are you from?

From Houston, TX.

I had a test ride with this system and I can vouch that there are 0 drones in the cab.

Props Mitch

So at 60mph in 8th gear, lightly accelerating to hold speed, 1500-2000 rpm you dont have any drone? I had a reputable shop install it for me, could they have installed it wrong? Would some install error give me drone? I am going from stock to this, so my drone might be tame in comparison to the race version's drone, but its still there.

Thanks for the positive feedback Mitch! We told you we would take care of you and we're glad that you're happy with the new system. Let us know if you need anything else from us.

I love the sound of mine but the drone is pretty excessive. How much is this replacement section? Does it sacrifice any HP or sound at WOT?

What's the weight of this exhaust? Before I picked up a Borla exhaust (which I love) drone and weight were my primary buying points.

If you have the new version I'm confused.....I have been so happy because since Friday I have not had to drive the car in manual mode at all to keep the rpms up purely because this new set up is so tolerable yes even at a perfect holding at 60mph in 8th gear. Today one of the guys I work with drove the car for almost 50+ miles and said man its Sooo much more quiet than before. I also have seen a major mpg increase since Friday and I believe the engine likes the added back pressure from the new design. It responds better at a low rpm than before. I spent all day driving today with a smile on my face!

Can I buy just the center section with the resonators and keep the same mufflers?

No, the entire system is different in certain ways. The drone fix is due to the new design in mufflers and the addition of resonators. I tried cats and resonators with the old set up and got 0 results. Its all in the mufflers being merged into duals vs quads.
