Default FYI: Hardwiring radar to mirror - 2011 ISF
There are some great DIYs for hard-wiring radar detectors. The wires are of different colors in the 2011s.

I hooked it up as follows:

STEALTH CORD ----> MIRROR

RED ----> BLACK
BLACK ----> BLACK & WHITE

The radar turns on with the ignition.

I got a radar detector hard wire kit from Safe N Sound1. They sell on ebay if you want to search. The kit was easy to install and works great. They have kits for mirror mounts or fuse box power. Less than $20.

They have mirror kits, fuse box kits and one that uses a wire tap. I got a fuse box kit for my DD.
