for all those with the new PSS, did you go with the oem tire size or did you go wider?

If you're not planning to plus size and you're happy with the factory PS2...the PSS is a no brainer. The only big difference is the appearace of the tire. The sidewalls of these tires does not kick out as much so rim protection is reduced for your factory rims. Performance wise...its better because its quieter...and so far so good they are gripping well on hard turns.

Your best bet is to go to your local costco and make sure they can order them. PS2's are being phased out but there are still plenty of OEM IS F fitment out there.

True but this is in the IS F forum and if you ever took the time to read my original post, it was regarding the order of replacements of my my Pilot Sport 2 which came stock on my IS F.

Anyone can tell you all day long that the Michelin Primacy HP tires are < to the new PSS. Those came factory on my 07 GS350 before I got rid of it.

OEM sizes. I'm really happy them so far with about 100 miles. Very quiet, comfortable, and responsive.

Well I have driven about 20miles on the Super Sports and they feel great!!!!Driving on my old Pilot Sports and was able to squeeze out 32K miles and still had some life left on them, but they really needed to be replaced.

After replacing the Pilot sports with the Super Sports, what a world of difference. The ride is now softer and more nimble handling from the front end. The extra fresh new rubber contributed to this. The tire balancing helped smooth out the ride and the low rolling resistance of these tires are incredible, it feels like they roll effortlessly....should help with increasing the gas mileage. So far as tire grip..it's all there, takes more effort to break lose..lovin that feature.

The tires are rated to goto 30K, iam sure I'll reach that and possibly a few more miles. Michelin tires are worth their weight in gold.....worth the purchase

I do plan on going bigger on the tires: 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. Will this cause a need to recalibrate my NAV?

You still have to recalibrate your nav on each tire change.

I punctured one of my tires on day 2. I had to patch it at the nearest Tire Kingdom to get home.

Do you all think I should just go and buy a new tire and try to sell the patched one cheap to someone who doesn't care?

I did a google search on this idea and it sounds like most manufacturer's NAV systems require this. Most of them stated there should be some calibration option in the NAV settings somewhere, or that it should be in the owners manual somewhere. Apparently it can skew your MPGs, but I did not see anything else.

I'll just call my sales guy at the dealership and tell him to tell me how to do it.

You should be OK for day-to-day driving. I had to plug my right rear stock Bridgestone only after 10000 miles or so. I've put over 25000 miles on it since and still going.

If you track it, it might put too much stress on the plug and cause it to leak. I have no idea as I don't track my F.

I can't wait to replace my rears with the Pilot Super Sports.
