Default Class is in session - school me?

Guys,

Been reading all day and still have some questions...

1. Were there options for the F or was it a full package deal?
2. Reason for no sunroof? Or did some have sunroofs? (kinda related to #1)
3. What sound system came in them?

TIA,
Jonny

2) sunroofs are quite useless imho. i hardly use it, and it's added weight at one of the worst spot of the car (performance). but if you like to ride with roof open, that's all good

3) standard audio or mark levinson, just like other lexus

Thanks for the response Romini - what about #1? Your answer to #3 would imply there were options (#1)?

Regards,
Jonny

Change year at the top depending on what model year you're curious about on options (different gen nav, etc)

Jonny,

1. The factory options are:

1) Mark Levinson Audio
2) Navigation
3) Park Assist
4) Headlamp Washers
5) Pre Collision System/Radar Cruise
6) Moonroof delete option

2. It's an optional item. 98% of the ISFs built have moonroofs.

3. Lexus Premium Audio is standard, but Mark Levinson is optional (but most IS Fs are ordered with ML/NAV and moonroof as a minimum).

All the packages were dependent on the region it was for.

Generally Western Region cars were ordered with ML/NAV only, Southern Region was ML/NAV Park Assist and Eastern and Midwest would order ML/NAV, Park Assist and Headlamp Washers.

Good luck!

Whoa the OG's are strong in this thread...

That's good to know info flipside. I haven't seen many F's with pre-collision.

If someone is riding your a$$, open the sunroof and spit up. It'll land right on their windshield. If you chew, it'll be really nasty.

^lol I've rarely seen any IS F's without a sunroof. It might be added weight, but it's hard to not have a sunroof in somewhat sunny So Cal (crazy rain we've been having every now and again). I've also rarely seen any with the PCS/Radar. I know there's a different front emblem- a glossy "L", but am not so familiar with its benefits.

in canada, you choose your colour and trim level (base or premium). base comes with web design wheels, and premium comes with the original 10 spoke bbs wheels.

you can order sans moonroof... but good luck with that though - dont know if it was exceptional, but it takes forever to get a specially ordered car from lexus canada. my gs350awd took 4 months!

to this day, i have not seen in person an isf without the option package or the moonroof delete. she is a mysterious beast, that i have only seen on the wild internets.

Actually if I recall, radar cruise only goes up to 85mph on the last Lexus I drove with PCS/Radar Cruise.
