the procedure is the same for 2011.
carefully pull out mirror FROM THE BOTTOM - it snaps on and off. snapping it back in can be tricky. if you break the tabs your screwed. i believe replacement mirrors for the f are 3-500 buckeroos per side.
remove 4 screws holding the side mirror assembly together.
carefully pry apart the side mirror assembly.
you now have full access to the puddle lights!
tip. if you are replacing the incandecent lights with leds, make sure the led is not too long... its a tight fit in there.
