Outstanding and congrats!
I'm looking at adding those mods later down the road, so thanks for the candid opinion. BTW, do you ever make it around Austin? If so, I'd love to hear your car.

Sorry for asking this question once again, but is there any other header brand, other than sikky? Elites? Nothing against sikky, just wanted to explore all options.

At this point you can call PPE and have a set made but their CEL fix is sketchy and Elites are not available... everyone is seeing 40ish whp gains from sikky, perfect fitment and no CEL, what else is anyone looking for in headers

With the exhaust and port work as well as tires I'm hoping to get into 11's no issue. Ill post pics and details asap.
Did you do a stock 1/4mile before? I ran .14 slower than you stock 2 weeks ago. Is the track in high altitude? Those headers & intake must add at least 25whp on the factory exhaust no?

I know thats why I think the stock exhaust is shutting him down. I expected 12.30-20's with headers alone(45-50whp).
I was almost considering going headers first, but a used PTS came up.

I did not, but If you caught everything I have mentioned in the thread it may make better sense.

I do think the oem exhaust is still holding the car back compared to others set up's. I may be only one running oem exhaust still after header. I have 0 experience with a rwd car, which may not mean much to some. The car continued to go faster every run....Thats the big thing to keep in mind. I had to drive back to Dallas so I couldn't just keep running the car. I seriously doubt people run their best time the 1st few passes.

The car seems to be running better and better. I now have 850 miles since I did the install and the battery was disconnected. I am being told its normal for the Lexus computer to continue to adjust to the mods the more the vehicle is driven since the fuel trims are now off. There were several wrecks at tx2k11 this weekend due to what seemed to be a poorly prepped track, So hopefully the times you are all expecting are right there. I simply just didn't have the time or the correct tools.

Dyno was done today since I have put 1100 miles on it since the install.
baseline stock air filter, removed cats and joe z intake tube is 350.48whp and 308.87wtq

sikky headers oem exhaust still= 375.02whp and 353.16wtq.

Dyno was a dynojet, base line temp was 71.30 degrees and today was 84.29 degrees.

Over all the oem exhaust is still holding the car back big time, but Im ver happy to see a gain like this still using oem mufflers.

How many pull did you do, did they let the dyno warm up first... what was the overall procedure you followed while dynoing?

2 pulls last week 2 pulls today. drove the car 35 miles both time to get there. Id say i stood around for 15 min today from pulling in parking lot until the car was on dyno. so no cool off time. The first pull last week was 10am and the car sat for 2 hours before the pulls.

All pulls in 6th gear. Is that the Correct gear to dyno in??

Never heard of dyno warm up before even on my drag car but the wheels were rolling for 5+ min before the pull today... is that what you mean?? Remember Im in Texas everything is Hot right now lol

edit: holy moly!I just noticed while the HP gain isn't that impressive you picked up almost 50tq!!!

most of your power is being lost in the circled bottle neck. I still can't figure out why they crushed that merge..
