oh man i saw a 2011 on the street pass by me and i got jealous. Does anyone know if the 2011 will fot the 2008? could it be possible to be swapped out without any modifying?

If your 08 comes with AFS headlights, you'll constantly see the AFS warning light after you changed to the 2011 headlights as 2011s don't have AFS. Sewell has them for sale on their site if you really "need" them.

I'd personally skip the LEDS for AFS. I can't believe they terminated it for the 2011 MY.

Every car manufacturer has jumped on the "LED running lights" bandwagon. Personally, I think it's gaudy and cheapens the look of the car.

It is a nice subtle touch to the headlight. Granted, many car manufacturers are finding ways to include these LED running lights, but I like it for the new MY cars. It's not for everyone, but it's better than Audi or MB IMO. I don't think I'll be swapping headlights. It's not because there will be that AFS light on all the time, but because less is more. It's not busy in the front and looks clean.

I have noticed that lexus led running lights are not as white/bluish as the Audi. Me no likey...

Saw the new Kia Sportage that has in-headlight LED DRL's.

That's why I'm not getting them cus I don't want to look like a Kia.

At least that's what I tell myself to resist wanting to get them.

I like the "newness" factor of my '11 and it's lights. The LED's may not be for everyone, but feeling current sort of adds to why I got into this car to begin with: exclusivity and an understated bad-***-ness. On the anti-hater/elitist side, I think of the LED's as: "yes, LSD-equipped".
