Enjoyed the story. My 08 is nearing 39K with no problems. I change both fronts and rears at 30K. I still love looking at my car parked.

I came up on my one year and 21000 trouble free miles! Tell me specifically what oil and weight you use?

Eneos Synthetic 5w30 is what I use. I believe we can go down to 5w20.

Flip. Nice write up. Always a pleasure to see your threads. Question about your F...did you change brake fluid at the 30k mark? If so any particular one? I have been a proud owner except ONE thing...my drivers side seat cushion makes a squeak noise (leather against leather). Dealership just wants to replace the bottom cushion for me...I wanted a whole seat change. My philosophy behind it...I own my car...not a lease...and this is how Lexus treats a particular customer...and IS-F customer. We aren't your average LEXUS buyer here...I feel we should be getting "pampered" so to speak. And I really don't feel I am going out of my place asking for that...

Again nice write up. Glad to see things are going well.

Nice pics, I see a few cars I recognize in there

We chickened out and flew to Vegas for SEMA - the drive is just too boring for me these days.

Nice to hear you are having no issues. Last time I sat in your car was at Fremont when you showed me your Navi bypass, still have yet to do mine! I'm nearing 13k miles I think and so far no problems here either on my 08...gotta luv Lexus!

Great reports Ryan and Lance. I really think the Lexus F program is a new era in high performance luxury vehicles and sports cars. RELIABLE ones!

Great report. I have 44K on mine and other than brake pads and normal oil changes I've only had to go to the dealer on one occasion two days ago to replace the drivers side HID bulb under warranty.

I am a true believer in Toyota/Lexus quality and we just picked a 2011 GS350 for my wife two weeks ago.

No I don't plan to change out the fluid until I service the brakes.

The whole seat replacement is pretty expensive. If only one part of your seat is malfunctioning, Lexus is entitled to cover that particular part under warranty, not the whole assembly unfortunately. It's just like saying, my bumper is misaligned on my car, so I want Lexus to replace the whole car. It's just not gonna happen. I agree with you us F owners are exclusive, but Lexus can't make exceptions for other Lexus owners. That's just like trying to make exclusive privileges for "h" owners or those Lexus owners that own LS. As Lexus owners, we are pretty spoiled in comparison to the other luxury brands out there.

Haha i'm sure it is, but like you, the owners of those familiar cars flew to Vegas as well. They had the $$$$ to have their cars transported to Vegas. Luckily Vegas is less than a 3 hour drive from me.
