plus one, frosting would tie things together well instead of the murder.

Hey fellow Vancouverite!
Somebody told me they saw a matte black IS-F around Richmond, I guess it's yours. I think it turned out great! (Though I would have done matte black gas cap instead of CF) The IS-F looks fantastic in matte black!
Hopefully I'll see you around town sometime.

Is the vinyl black or is it a transparent matte finish over the black car and the original paint showing through?
Looks nice, I'm in the camp of losing the CF on the gas door too. I like the little bit of shine on the wheels and light lenses.
I don't recommend paint tinting the lenses, go with vinyl covers, more consistent coverage and reversible. http://www.lamin-x.com/

That said, you can certainly go with a flat colored vinyl if you want.
I was at SEMA last week and watched the 3M guys (also meguiar's, same company nowadays) apply it and remove it a couple of times; it's pretty slick. There was a flat gray M3 that looked pretty amazing too...actually come to think of it, there was at least 1 of pretty much every model available for sale with flat wrap on it. Very popular this year.
You can't beat the protection this offers to your paint, even if you didn't want flat you can wrap the whole car in clear and keep your paint mint indefinitely.
The 3M guys said expect $3500-$6500 for a full wrap depending on the application, the material, and the shop you go to.

^^ They actually make a clear bra material which has a matte finish..
** AeroTect is a major supplier of it and they call it "Frost Bite"..
It looks good and I have it on my hood & bumpers.
For a more detailed look
You can have a professional paint shop, spray a layer of "Matte Clear Coat" to the tails as well..
They have to have experience in working with the matte clear materials.
Mine were done below over two years ago in this fashion and still look just as good as Day 1!!
Now they are on my F..

Hi guys, just got a few new upgrades since last time. They are Lexon front lip and Wald rear diffuser. The front and rear lights are tinted with 30%. I think the car looks alright so far. My next upgrade would the Joe-Z PTS exhaust and hopefully a header too (really love my Joe-Z intake). Anyway, sorry for the bad pics, I didn't have a lot of time before it started raining.
