It's great to see what the ISF can really do at Infineon.
I'm looking forward to better times before and after the headers.

It is a slow track. The headwind and incline grade do not help. FWD cars especially at Infineon absolutley sucks.

On the flipside Sac raceway is a fast track, so much so that its rumored not to be a full 1/4 mile. Whether thats true or not; my best traps are in Sac with previous cars, by a large margin. I would venture a guess being a result of the aformentioned non-variables of wind and incline. Sac gets hot in the spring/summer and fall, but rarely any headwind, if any wind its a tail wind. Late fall early winter, late winter early spring are the best times to hit both tracks in this area.
Track prep is pretty good at infineon even on wed. nights. Sac sucks unless you do test n tune.

Looking forward to the PPE headers!

Hope to see fellow F'er's out there

I think according to C&D, it was way quicker on their road course called the "lightning lap", i believe, compared to the 2008, i think almost 10 secs quicker due to the suspension revisions... but they found it to be a little slower in the 1/4... this is all off the top of my head from what i can recall...

He's referring to the lightning lap of VIR, and yes, it was 10 seconds faster around VIR with the new suspension and limited slip.

That's suprising that the LSD didn't help quarter mile times.

Ive got 275 BFG KDW's and they always been pretty sticky street tires, On my F and previously on my SC G35.

I do go through the box because they stick better with some heat and i like to be lined up with the previous runs tire lines. I do a mild to medium burn out and then lauch around 1200. Timing the yellows and green just right so I give it only a sec or so of a stall(hold brake, give gas) then take off on the last yellow. Shallow stage helps novice dragsters.

Hey Dv8tion, I just purchased a 2008 Lexus ISF. 95k miles. 100% stock. Took it to the track last weekend and I was very disappointed. My best time was 14.321. I don't know if I was doing something wrong or somethings is not right with the car. The previous/original owner claimed he pampered it. I have all the service records from Lexus. I would power brake and launch around 1,500rpm. My ship point was at 7,100rpm, right before the rev limited (7,200rpm). Has traction control off and put it in sports mode. Any recommendations or advise? I been told to try and recent the ECU?

If you were able to shift at 7100 rpm, your isf is not stock.

The rev limiter is at 7,200. Is that not stock?

I was wrong! My rev limiter is right around 6900. So as I hit the right (6,800 rpms) I would shift.
