I have some stealth bulbs too. Looks much better IMO.
The moldings black color was very identical to the vinyl so I did not have a problem with the shade.
About the border not sure what you mean by that? but the molding I choose had a trapezoid shape cross-section..I guess thats what gave the effect of being fused with the vinyl. I also overlapped the moldings by a few mm over the vinvl. Hope this answers your question.

Check out page 2....he didn't use for doors! Hahaha. But your reaction is about the same as everyone else's first reaction. What he did was very creative and the end result wasn't bad at all. Check it out.

How bright are the Pep Boys branded stealth bulbs? I bought some stealth bulbs before on ebay and they sucked so bad in the daytime that I almost got rear ended on several occasions. I've seen the PIAA Mirror bulbs which are like these but much more expensive. I now have the Sylvania Silverstar turn signal bulbs and they are very bright but have this green hue to them which I don't like.

The bulbs I got are not from pep boys but from www.stealthauto.com .they are really good, no greenish hue, the chrome also has a nice finish on the bulb.

great looking F

The stealth bulbs are as bright as the stock bulbs and they carry a lifetime guarantee, if they mess up for any reason they will replace them... no questions asked

Wow, this looks pretty good. I was thinking of doing CF vinyl on the lower half of my bumper. I might do what the OP did instead.

I know, I know, I revived a 3 month old thread.

Your going to put $15 moldings on a $60k car???? I own an IS350 and would not even disgrace my car with that crap. Heck I won't even disgrace a new Ford Festiva with those.
