Off course, I am comparing freshly flushed system against old factory pads (10K miles on them)
and three years old brake fluid. Nevertheless, I have done many brake services on my past projects,
I never noticed any significant difference, but I really love the feel of the this brake job. The pads have really great bite, the smoothness of the braking surprised me the most. It just feels really great and solid.....even with the rotors being unchanged.

Great pads for $85, I would take them over the OEMs anyday.

Three bottles 3x250ml. No problems with the flush at all.

Brembo Sport.EVO 500++ Brake Fluid (part# 04.8164.50) 3 bottles (3x250ml)

I must say, I am very pleased with the results.
Really great initial bite, excellent pedal feel. Overall very smooth braking experience.
Noticeably improved performance. Highly recommend.....BTW $84.99 for the pads.

I washed my wheels today .......I will report on the dust in about a week.

To report back with the brake dust level.

Let me start with my experience with the OEM pads in the front and rear.
My front wheels were always about 50% more dirty after one week of driving than my rear wheels. I am sure evryone will agree with that.

Now after one week of having the Stoptech pads installed in the front and OEM in the rear.
The front wheels have nearly same level of dust as the rear ones. That is like 40-45% less dust than before. Pretty great I would say for the driving charachteristics these provide IMO and not being ceramic pads.

Next time around I am planing to switch rear ones to StopTech as well. Awesome pads.

Anyone know what differences are with the new front pads, part # 04465-0W170?

The old front pads part # 04465-0W120 are $250 at Sewell, however the new pads are $465.....

Thanks for anyone's input.

I'm putting on new rotors & pads. The rotors say take it easy/moderate braking for 200 kilometers.

Do I bed in the brake pads after that 200 kilometers or during?

thx

^^^^The bedding process is the first thing you do after installation of the pads and rotors.

I've done business with these folks (Ferodo DS2500 pads) and they're great to work with

Its weird to read that after the manufacture recommendations to take it easy/no hard stops on the first 400 miles.

Thanks Lou

It's no different than the bad advice the manufacturers give for engine break-in.
