Default IS-F 2008 OEM Diff cracked...anyone else? (With pics)

As seen in pics, the problem was from so called "sattelite box" from its cracked peaces of axis ends, that is not in straight shape. The only reasonable explanation of it is that metal that was used to manufacture it, could not cope with temperatures everything is creating inside diff. When metal overheated, axis bent and everything else happend...

Moreover, oil has been changed twice offen then it has to be (every 15'000km instead of 30'000km).

It has only lasted 70,000km...

Simptoms, that where not treated as real problem:
Ticking metal noise, from rear wheel brake area, when suddenly accelerated in reverse or drive.

Eventualy, I heard only some kind of metal noise on decelaration coming from front right wheel, and thought it was something with brake disk protective metal shiel, but it was false...

So here are pictures..

Anyone else has some problems with OEM IS-F diff?

Oil was changed twice as offen. It has to be changed every 30'000km, but it was changed every 15'000km. Engine oil was/is changed every 15'000km.

Is this going to be covered under warranty? If not, the good news is that you have an excuse to get a 2011 IS-F diff or an aftermarket diff. Sucks to spend money on anything if you don't have to normally otherwise.

My differential had to be replaced, but it wasn't due to anything this serious. In my case, I just simply spun a bearing and started hearing a winding noise.

What type of driving do you usually partake in ?

Remember the 145 mph maximum cruising speed? Is there a surprise something failed if you exceeded it for extended periods as you previously claimed?

hahaha... BUSTED!

It doesn't matter of the oil was changed more than you needed to - you used the car at speeds that it was not designed to go.

If it cannot be used for long periods, then those periods must be electronicaly controled or smth. First it has to be proven.

The idea is, that F is designed for track and it is ment to be driven like that. I was really disapointed that it cracked like this even when I founded out, that they had same problem with OEM ISX50 rear diff and they modified it.

you said it yourself, designed for the track. the only kind of track i can think of where you could sustain such a high speed for long periods of time is a nascar oval. And i am pretty sure they didnt design this car on a nascar oval.
