the cardboard is just the template...i'm almost done with the ABS version and after that, it will be used for the ALUMINUM or CF version...

i'm picking up the alum tube portion of it this week as well...

if you want one, i can have a second one fab'd up... come by and i'll show you what i got in the works...

BTW, it uses a large conical paper element with a composite velocity stack...

 

Interesting...i'd like to check this out when we come up for Wekfest.

if not, maybe i'll just leave the cardboard peices in there and spray it black...

 

got my brake pads!!!
now waiting for the rotors... *sigh*

 

^whoa...are those pads dust free? Do they fit the oem calipers/brakes?

 

i'll let you know about the dust free stuff when i get some time with these things...

and yeah, these are for the stock calipers...

 

oh...and i know a lot of guys on here used belt sanders and dremels to cut fenders...

next project is putting a brake light LED in my roof spoiler...

harder than i thought... *Sigh*

worked on the intake yesterday/last night...











still need to either polish everything or maybe paint/powder coat...not sure yet...

haven't dyno'd yet either...will keep you guys updated...

there's a good and there's a bad...
the good is the car pulls much better than with the K&N i had on there...
ALSO...when i had the K&N, my gas mileage dropped quite a bit... for two full tanks i got an ave of roughly 15 or so MPG...with this new setup, i'm back up to roughly 17.5 MPG...

the BAD... the reason why it's better is cause it's leaning out a bit.
i'm throwing a code and i think i know why... already made a new unit to test but my car is down...parts are at the painters getting ready for the up coming show this weekend... i'll let you know what the end result is after the show...





got the roof spoiled i got from iLexi...color was slightly off and the fitment wasn't the greatest...BUT for the price he sold it for, i think it's still a good deal...


rear diffuser i got from s4play... will get better pics later:


right now the intake tube, engine cover, grill surround, front bumper (getting those ugly holes filled in and scratches taken out) is getting painted starfire pearl...the airbox, emblems, fog light housings, grill insert and splitters (when they arrive) are getting painted smoky granite mica...

NVM LOL. Now all your pics and text showed up in the post. Before there were only 2 pic, with ur front bumper and rear. Sounds like a nice choice of items to paint, post when there back!

and i've been really lazy to grab the camera so i just take pics with the cellie...hence the bad pictures...

i will def take more pics... my past jobs had me documenting stuff and i do the same where i am now so it's just part of me these days...
