$1300 for labor is the going dealer rate here as well, but my friend quoted me $400.

Sold the GTR...I needed a more "practical" daily driver and the ISF suite the bill. The GTR was GREAT and I will likely end up with another one soon. As for more details on why, I don't want to derail this thread.

Looks like we are inching closer to a retrofit solution!
I can almost feel it

OS Giken should be in next week and install hopefully that week as well... I will post pictures of this install. This will be tested all year for the TIME ATTACK SEASON. I will give you all updates.

trackdood, how's the OS Giken working out for you? are you experiencing any of the clatter that was mentioned earlier in this thread? Is this clatter inevitable for clutch type LSDs?

Another question is will the IS-f rear diff unit be usable for the is350? Does anyone know?

The diff has been great. There is no noise or chatter. Sorry the car has been down for some new suspension mods. This is honestly the best mod I have done.

Anyone do the full 2010 LSD swap yet with Lexus parts? Also curious about the new suspension settings in the 2011 that improved so much in Car and Driver...

Ah thanks for the correction. I just found this:

Spring rates are down in the front and up in the rear, and there are larger anti-roll bars, stiffer subframe bushings, and longer bump stops, which effectively increase spring rates when the car is nearing its maximum roll angle. Lexus also lightened the front hubs and control arms and slapped a Torsen limited-slip differential in the rear axle.
