There is no conflict in the Lexus documents available through TIS. There are no changes from the '08 - '09 IS-F suspension to the '10 IS-F suspension of any kind. If there were, they'd be outlined in the New Car Features Manual. There is nothing at all about any suspension change.

From Edmunds inside line:
"It also has increased spring and damper rates, larger-diameter stabilizer bars and upgraded suspension control arms to adapt to the 19-inch wheels on the 2010 IS-F."
I also thought I saw a similar statement on a press release somewhere.

The 09 and 10 share the same part numbers for the springs and and stabilizer bar so there cant be a change in rating.

Although using the basic double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension configurations of the IS platform, the IS F features a multitude of track-proven modifications. The IS F sits an inch lower on its suspension than the standard IS models, which lowers the center of gravity and helps provide a quicker handling response.

my thoughts exactly. i know its not the smoothest of rides, but its pretty damn stable and fun to drive ALWAYS. ive heard that people complain that riding in the rear is bumpy and at times nauseating, but that has died down over time. or you can even change it with some coilovers. but to get a brand new suspension for a ride that wants you to feel the road is going against what its meant to be and do.

Who's complaining? The ride is just fine for what it is, but if they offered an adjustable suspension from the factory I would have jumped on it as would a lot of other folks. Why buy coilovers if the factory offered options and provided a better warranty? There are plenty of manufacture's that do it, its only a matter of time before Lexus does as well on this car if it survives that long.

That was one of the first things I mentioned to Lexus when the IS F first came out. Adjustable electronic controlled suspension dampening is a must.
