Default Long time no see...

Hi folks,

I feel like I need to reintroduce myself as I haven't posted or even visited here since December '08. A lot of stuff happen to me, I lost my job, took it easy for a couple of months and moved back in the craziness: co-founding a start-up, now things are settling a little and I finally have time to baby my car again.

So I got a 2008 Matador Red Mica IS-F with few mods...
See ya around !

Welcome back to the Club.

Good luck with the start-up, it's certainly a tough year to launch....trust me, I know....opened up another business in March and it's been a grind.

Welcome back. I remember you were to install JIC FLT-TAR coilovers (like I did). How much did you lower the car and what everyday damping setting are you using? I am contemplating lowering a bit more on the front (I have the minimum lowering setting, about 1/2" to 3/4" but I'd like a tiny more on the front, without creating any issues). Thanks.

Funny you talk about this, I never got them to properly work. Or I have rub in the front (with ever so slightly drop), or I have to jack up the car like a giraffe not to have any rub. I do love the feeling at mid damping setting, soft but firm and very compliant, but unfortunately rubbing...

That must be an install issue? I don't have any rubbing at all and I used the minimum lowering setting (advertised at 1/2" but it looks more like 3/4" on the rear and 1/2" on the front). The car is definitely lower and no rubbing. I have stock wheels and tires.
