The part number for the card key is 89904-50480. If you also want the physical lock key, you'll need part number 69515-50220, and it will need to be cut for your car.

Yes thanks Lance. The ones I am looking at is the ones with the F logo to see if they work on our 2008 but it seems only 2009 and up

That part number is what is in the database for the IS F. If it does not have the F logo, it may not exist. We all know there are different keys. There is a list of the FCC IDs in the owner's manual of all the acceptable key options.

Running the "F" credit card key on my 2014 IS F... it works very well (I don't even carry the OEM key fobs now). I ordered that part through Sewell online w/our Club Lexus discount and asked my local Lexus dealer to program it (for free) to my car (bring both of your normal key fobs with you when you have that done). I gave Sewell my VIN & keycode and they cut the blank mechanical key blade to fit, that I had also ordered from them.

- Kirk

Not sure about the cars in the States but here in Canada the credit card key was part of the "Series II" option pack for my model year (2012). I bought my car in Sept 2014 as a CPO from the Lexus dealer five hours from my home. The key was not with the car when I picked it up so I told them that I wanted the key. Turns out that when Lexus sells you a CPO car they have to give you all the keys it originally came with. The dealer got a hold of the previous owner and managed to get the credit key. They Fedex'ed the key to me overnight. So if anyone buys a CPO make sure you ask for all the keys...

How much did Sewell charge you to cut the blank mechanical key blade that goes with the credit card key? Sewell discount with club lexus is showing
Credit card key: $189.10
actual card key: $66.42

Really wanting to order this key but being at around 250 already and thats not including the programing and key cut, going over 300 is kinda steep...

ive been carrying my key in my wallet for 3 years.....i love it! The only drawback is you have to use the touch sense on the handle to unlock the door and the little button to lock it. No remote. It's ok i don't need that big bulky remote anyhow.

Prices were about that... last summer (2014), I paid $187.26 for the card and $56.55 for the blade. It isn't a cheap upgrade, but I really like having this thin little keycard for normal use... when you show this "key" to a normal person (enthusiast or not), they are pretty amazed. As mentioned above (by meade916), you lose the physical remote buttons, but I don't mind grabbing the door handle to lock/unlock the car. My local Lexus dealer didn't charge me anything to get the card programmed to the car, and if you provide Sewell your VIN and keycode, they can get the blade cut (less than $20) and shipped with your initial order.

Process here: http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2014/4646.html

FWIW... the MSRP on the "F" keycard and the blade together is >$400... so we are getting a pretty good discount from Sewell...

Regards,
- Kirk

Hey guys bumping a old thread. Sewell parts site is closed and my dealer here in sac is having a hard time understanding what I want. Is there another source to get the F style key fob.
Dealer said no go and we can use the LS460 fob but I told them I wanted the F style one and I got the deer in the headlights look and was told that was only offered in Canada..

Any help is appreciated..

Yeah if youre talking about the wallet sized key card then you can still buy them on ebay. You just have to get them programmed at a dealer or something. Part number is 89904-53131. It's about $220 ~ shipped on ebay.

You can always call Sewell for parts even though their site is down.
