Isnt that a good thing? I mean when you hit the brakes you want it to grab the car and stop.

No. Grabby brakes means they're not progressive and you can't modulate that well.

what made you get an IS-F compared to a E92? Since you did have an M3...?

Exactly!

I love the e92/e93 m3 don't get me wrong but in my opinion the m3 sedan is too similiar to the regular 3-series and ugly. I love the coupes lines but I needed a true 4-door sedan that can seat 4 comfortably thus the IS-F is the best choice.

Amazing how so many people believe low pedal pressure and quick initial bite means good. I still like my Supra's brakes because they require some effort, but have superb feel even if they don't have velcro-like grabbiness.

Both look like very nice cars. Congrats on the purchase and thanks for sharing the pictures.

Are you dropped, or is that just my eyes due to the angle of the road?

thanks, I'm truly enjoying this car and very happy with my decision to finally buy this car over the e92 m3. I've been trying to find excuses to drive this car and have left my DD Hayabusa in the garage all this week!

here's my current mod list on the IS-F (yes the car is dropped)

JoeZ Exhaust system
BC Racing Coilovers
Smoked front/rear partial lenses
Roof Spoiler
Custom hidden V1 Install
Tinted Windows
Clear bra with full hood wrap
6000k HID Fogs
LED Interior Upgrade Kit (#194, 3022 bulb)

I have some really trick but subtle mods coming soon so stay tuned for more updates down the road

Clean rides. Looks like you took the pics in Pasadena at Ken Kranes parking lot.

thanks henry, I have a lot of plans for this car but it will be much more tame ~ nothing like my e46 m3! Learning to be subtle this time around as this has to be a daily driver too!

T-Rex06: Located in norcal so these were not taken in Pasadena

LexusChris: thank you very much for the words!
