Not sure what they did as a part of the troubleshooting!! Noise seems to be from the bottom of the motor. What's crazy is that even shop foreman of Lexus dealer said that he never heard that sound from any Lexus but yet they are not doing anything about it!!

Glad you posted the video. My car has the same exact sound as yours. I did bring mine into Lexus (Inskip) and they said that it's normal. Glad I'm not the only one hearing that EXACT sound coming from my engine.

Have you had dealer listen to another IS-F on the lot? Please someone confirm it on this Forum about the metal clicking noise

In my opinion it sounds like a faulty catalytic converter or gasket near the converter connecting to the manifolds or exhaust.

It also makes sense, since you mentioned the sound is heard when the car heats up. I'm no mechanic, but all the different types of metals used combined with heating (expanding) and cooling (contracting) at different rates may be the reason you are hearing a 'ticking/popping' sound.

If the catalytic converter is suspect, and not throwing a code or check engine light, make sure to keep track of your m.p.g's. This is typically a sign of something serious, if you are not getting mileage within the range of other members (of course driving habits/conditions vary )

Best of luck and keep us updated!

It sounds like a loose valve to me. I would insist they check the valve lash. It does NOT sound normal at all.

Guys, these engines have shim type valve adjustments. They are NOT hydraulic as most car engines are. Because we have rocker arms, it is possible for a loose valve to make noise just like this. Bucket and shim engines never make noise, but it sounds like rocker arm clatter to me.
