Default CD mp3 issues?

I've burned 6 CDs with mp3's, and all are readable on the computer, but only 3 is readable by the car. Amongst the 3 that do work, one of them has a few songs that skip heavily.

I'm using Roxio to burn the discs... anybody have any idea why the system has so much trouble?

Not sure if it matters, but my car does not have ML.

Use better media or burn your discs slower.

Mines are Cicero's I think... I'll try another brand... @ 2x burn speed or something... (man it'll take forever!)

Thanks!

Close the disc. I burn my CDs at 52x without any issue, it sounds like you didn't close the session or the disc.

Had mine replaced after due to "open circuitry". Only played on warm date.

I had occasional problems at 48x when using Plextor drive / TDK CD-Rs / Nero to burn, but after switching down to 32x had no problems. I never closed my discs, dunno if that's the issue.

I use Verbatim CDs and DVDs with Nero 6.6.1.4 in a Plextor at 52x. Never a bad burn, always plays great in the IS.
