I think your problem is that you open the door before turning the engine off, that happens to all of us as you can see on previous posts. I don't think there is a code for disabling the door buzzer.

Maybe your car just dosent want you to leave. It wants to be driven more.
LOL! No, no moonroof but you are probably right the F does need to get more road time.

Correct, there is no code for that..

Its just a key fob reminder chime..

- If Car is driven.. Then parked... Door never Opened.. Engine/Car is turned Off. (Lights don't matter)

When you Open the door to exit, their will be NO chime...

I don't mean to beat a dead horse and perhaps I'm missing something here but....

It is not the chime when I open the door and leave the car (I get that as a reminder for the key). It is the fact that if I then close the door, then return later and open the door (with key in pocket the entire time) it chimes from opening the door until I sit down inside and close it. *That* behavior is what I see as annoying and not useful.

Okay, I'm done.

Did you lock the car when you left, before returning and opening the door again?

If your door switch looks like this, you can take out the t30 screw and it will disable the switch. That is because it removes the ground.

Won't that also affect the interior lights?
