Sorry, I'm not sure of the part number...I threw away the box a long time ago. It's basically the rear F-Sport sway bar for the IS250/350...both are the same!...Darshana S...

There are two package a package containing both front and rear sway back for the RWD and another package containing just the rear sway bar for the AWD. It's unclear to me if the rear sway bars in both package are identical.
Witch package did you got ? did you have a useless front sway bar ?

Totally not true. Only changes were minor interior changes. Man, the dealer is really shoving the BS to ya huh?

The rear sways in both packages are the same. So order the rear for the AWD if you only want the one.

You can get the Rear bar seperately only, I didn't get both bars. From what I remember the Rear wheel drive and AWD rear sway bars are exactly the same! I got my rear bar from Sewell Lexus (one of the Forum Sponsors). Hope that helps a bit...Darshana S..

Just an FYI, the F-Sport Sway Bars were designed for the IS250/IS350 and so was the Chasis Brace..

Nothing F-Sport related will come installed on your IS-F.. as nothing F-Sport related was made for the IS-F..

Oski83, I had the same thing happen to me when I went into the dealership in Austin for the first time. The parts department thought the F-Sport parts were made for the F since they had the same name. I asked him to call Lexus corporate and ask what models the F-Sport parts were made for. Needless to say, they were a little embarrassed.

I pulled this installation instruction sheet off the net. No pics, but installation drawings. Yes, the PN is PTR02-53080 as listed on the sheet. I'm thinking I'm going to get this.

Was there any difference in rear sway bars between '08 and '11 models (with upgraded suspension)?

To be honest I'm a bit reluctant to change sway bar only - suspension is designed as a whole and changing single part is not the way I would go. From my experience with BMW E90 (which had very thin OEM rear sway bar), adding thicker rear sway bar made car more tail happy and it was loosing traction much easier. But it was compensated by softer springs in the rear + adding LSD.

Anybody installed it on '11+ ISF and tracked it? How is traction?
Does turn-in in slow corners (one of biggest issues of standard car according to me) really gets better?
Less under steer in tight corners?

Can anyone comment on this? I'm selling my '09 IS-350 on which I'd installed the F-Sport rear sway a few years back, but I'd like to swap it over to the new 2011 IS-F *only* if it truly makes sense to do so! I've read about a bunch of IS-F owners doing it, but with the revised suspension in 2011, it's not clear if it's an actual upgrade for 2011's and later... Thoughts?

The cars intentionally understeer from the factory as a safety measure for drivers on the street. Then F-sport bar that was sold for the IS250 AWD is a perfect compliment for the rear of the ISF. I have one on my 2008 since 2009 and it has been terrific. That coupled with the RR Racing USRS lower control arm bushing/bracket and the car is a blast to take through corners. No exotic suspension necessary.

If I recall correctly the part numbers for the '08 swayer and later years were the same.
