Bar's Leaks proactive against Valley Plate?
I've got a 2008 ISF (love the car!) that's been very well behaved so far. I worry a little about the Valley Plate, though.
The thought occurred to me that maybe using Bar's Leaks would prevent the problem, if it started. Has anyone else tried it / talked to someone who did?

NO!!!
Leak additives are absolute last resorts used on old worthless cars to get a little more life out of them before you junk them. These additives will clog up the whole system and basically finish off the cooling system and engine.
Your car is definitely not a good candidate for this type of solution.
Now, if you had a 1993 Chevy Cavalier with 350k miles all rusted out and sprung a leak in the desert? Yes. Go for it.
Not here.
