Well the dealers previously had to remove the dashes to change the airbag, well they did at first in my car. Then they went through the glovebox to replace the screws.

Quick update - took mine back to the dealer today and sure enough, they had knocked the GPS antenna cable loose during the airbag recall. Fixed and now it does display "GPS" on the screen and navigates just fine.
