I'm guessing the car will very likely do high 12s, if not maybe mid 12s 1/4 mile. 0 - 60 should be well into the 4s, but low 4s are unlikely.

One thing for sure that we know is the IS-F will be faster than the IS350 and handle better, only question is by how much.

Lexus never said the IS-F will do 0-60mpg in 4.9 secs. I recall them saying the IS-F will do 0-60mph ''in under 4.9 secs.''
Also, I remember a member on here asking if the sport paddles were plastic. They looked and felt like metal and appeared to be thicker then the regular IS models.

They aren't real chrome. They are plastic with a chrome like appearance. real chrome would get too hot and burn your fingers if it sits out in the sun long enough. They are the exact same size and deminsions as the regular IS shift paddles.

I thought they might be real chrome, but thanks for the clarification.

Are the gunpowder wheels the only choice or will you be able to get those rims in standard silver?

Gunmetal Gray is the standard finish which will be the only choice at this time.

The new GT-R will probably do some ridiculous times from the factory or with nothing more than a chip for ~$60k. V-spec definitely Porsche Turbo fast for $85k.

Thanks.

Personally, I prefer a simple silver finish but there's always the aftermarket.

Here is a picture I took from the display at the Detroit Auto Show...

BTW, I'm way jealous of you guys getting to drive the IS-F's so early.
