I guess to the wealthy, switching out to another car that may cost 59k-65K+ isn't a big deal to them. To a working stiff like myself who is considering an IS 350 Sp/ML/Nav, the 350 is plenty power and luxury for another 5 to 6 years from now. Other aspects of owning a car like the ISF or IS500 should be considered like insurance costs, fuel costs, service cost and potential tickets from speeding. Once again, the wealthy just laugh at my concerns about cost and continue to enjoy to the max.

I couldn't agree more

the IS350 is plently of car for me right now. For example, last night I caught myself cruising along at 90-100 on a major 4+ lane freeway and the ride and power was so smooth I didn't even notice it. Unforunatly that part of 101 coming out of San Fran happens to be 55mph limit in some spots. that would mean no more license and impounded car... the current IS already pulls at 50-90 mph range when I need it on the highway and racing from stoplight to stoplight just isn't appealing to me.

I would rather have a nice car like the IS and than buy a dedicated track car for fun. It would be more satisfying to compare lap times at the track than say I can push the pedal faster than car XYZ at the stoplight.

But to those with the means to buy a 65K+ car enjoy it! IS500 or new M3 they are both going to be impressive machines and provide a great driving experience.

I agree with most of your criteria.
If I want to spend $60k-$65k on an IS500....Than might as well spend it on the new M3! OR, I would get a used 911, which I'm sure one would be able to afford it if they are able to spend that much on the IS500! Though, I am thinking about getting the '07 IS350!
