Can you tell us why you think it doesn't make any sense? Depending on how they tune and position the production car, the LF-C makes as much sense as an IS C&C as it does as an SC IMHO.

BTW, I just noticed that lexus.jp is recently updated with a designer's talk about the IS design. Just look at the sketches...and tell me again the IS isn't derived from the LF-C!

Oops. My bad. I could have sworn the LF-C was a two-seater.

That's where the LF-A comes in, although I hope they make the next SC a true 2-seater too.

I just love the LF-C. It was an outstanding concept IMHO. What stands out to me about that disgn was the side of the car. I like how they did the bodylines. Unfortunately they couldnt make the rear end look nice.

I hope the supposed IS coupe resembles it instead of being a IS 4-door with 2 less doors. That IMO would be LAME.

I think I would hit the sedan, not really feeling the hardtop/convert though.

I doubt Lexus would put this engine in a hardtop coupe. I just don't see that, they would have to have tons of strutural rigidity in this car.

I personally believe that the IS actually is a coupe with 4 doors. Those back seats have less room than most convertibles I've been in.

Why don't you see that? Because Lexus does not have the capability to make a rigid car? I don't get it.
