I have a 2012 IS350C and I'm want to upgrade my fog lights. I'm considering ordering these from VLED
"LMZ PLATINUM 45W ULTRA OUTPUT LED H11 H8 H9 H16"

These are 45W and 6000 lumens. Is that going to be to bright? I'm worried that the police might give a ticket if they are

Or does it not matter since they are fog lights and shouldn't shoot upwards?

Hi rfong,

I don't know how bright those lights are, but you can always add a Laminex (like vinyl) tint onto your fog lamps if they are too bright. If you go to car shows you can ask around and see how different light outputs are. I went to a Lexus event and I learned a lot from there

For reference, the Sylvania Silverstar lamp has an output of 1345 lumens and uses 55 watts.
