I have a 2015 IS350C, and need to stick my TXTag (tolltag) on my windshield under the rearview mirror, but if I do, it will cover up this wire (see photo) that is laminated into the glass. The wire drops in from the driver's side, turns horizontal, and continues for 6 inches or so. Looks like it could be an antenna, but I already have an external antenna on the right rear quarterpanel, not to mention the "shark fin" above the windshield.

Does anyone know what this wire does, and will the TXTag interfere with it?

No, it's part of the factory windshield. Certainly not aftermarket.
