Rear seat removal

OK, I've looked this up!

The bottom seat cushions pop up (from the front) and lift out. That is, they are two separate pieces. The rear seat upright will come out after it's unfastened. There are four bolts along the bottom of the cushion, two on top (at each corner) and there are four in the center console. So, remove 10 bolts.

In order to reinstall, the 10 fasteners should be torqued to 18 ft/lbs, if you've taken out the seat belts too, they go back in at 45 ft/lbs.

Rear seat removal- ISC

Hello- I know this is a really old thread but I am trying to remove the back seat on my ISC and I removed (and cleaned) the bottom cushions and removed the 4 bolts at the base of the back cushion but it still seems connected at the top. The post says there are two bolts at each top corner but I do not see them. Do you have to remove the quarter panel trim to see them. also do the headrests have to come out with the rear seat? Thanks.
Jim

I think I found a pic that details the top bolts- Will see how easily it is to do.

I figured I would post some pics on the rear seat removal process. Turned out to be very straight forward except locating the top two nuts on the rear seat. The headrests stay in place when removing the back pad.
1-Lower top, complete first stage of top-up operation (trunk lid opened) to access outer corner trim pieces (for step 4)
2-Bottom cushions- just lift and pull as noted by others
3-Rear cushion- remove 4 bolts (2 on each side) from the bottom of the back pad
4-Remove outer corner trim pieces adjacent to the headrest assembly
5-Remove nut that is hidden beneath the outer corner trim pieces
6-Lift up back pad up and over screw studs and pull forward towards front seats- center rear console can stay in place

*I did not need to remove the seatbelts for my purpose (subwoofer install) -Jim
