32gb Verbatim USB issues
 

I had been using a Patriot XT 16gb USB drive in my IS250C with no problems but wanted more space so I bought the Verbatim Store N' Go Pinstripe USB 32gb drive. It works fine in my girlfriend's Honda and when plugged into my laptop but in my IS250C it says it is scanning and then says there is a problem and to check it is working properly (which it is). The only things I have on it are the files/songs copied directly from the 16gb Patriot that worked fine on it. Any ideas???

check the format. make sure it is formatted FAT32/FAT16. Sometimes the drives are preformatted NTFS.

Thanks. Actually that was the first thing I checked. I think most USB drives are actually pre-formatted FAT32 now (which these are). I bought 2 of the Verbatim 32gb drives and both are showing the same issue only with my IS250C audio system. A Kingston 32gb I had with data on it and just a few mp3 files worked (slowly) and the Patriot 16gb I had been using never had any issues.
