Default First ISC on Air Cup Suspension... Continuous Build Thread...

I believe this will be the first Lexus IS350C on Air Cup Suspension. First ISC on FULL Air Suspension still belongs to fknISC808 out of Hawaii. Differences between Full Air and Air Cup Suspension is.. Air Cup Suspension still utilized your Coilover settings. You still achieve the benefits and control of running a coilover suspension setup but with the option of raising your car up to 3.5"s when you come to those impossible driveways or speedbumps.

On to the pictures...

Went to Exotic Air headquarters to pick up the products... you can find more info here www.exoticair.com

Wall full of Air Cups...

Exotic Air Coffee Mug aka Air Cup.

Basic Air Management components...

Unfortunately Exotic Air Cups required a 65mm diameter spring assembly to fit.. I am running BC Coilovers which are only 62mm so i had to upgrade to some Swift springs with a 65mm spring diameter for my coils..

This is what it will look like after Exotic Air Cups are installed on your coilovers... (These are just for reference since i havnt disassembled my coilovers yet)

Before i disassemble my coilovers (which is the easy part)... gotta prep the car for wiring and air lines...

On to the fun part.... gutting the car... (yes it would have been easier to just drill a hole and run the air lines under the car, but i wanted to do it right and run everything internal.)

So much more pain in the a** than a 4 door... (put the roof up.. take something out.. put the roof down.. take something out.. almost quit after doing this 4 times.)

Trunk gutted..

Front seats gutted..

These guys weighed like 80 lbs each...

Rear seats gutted..

Hope i dont misplace anything... gonna be so screwed if i cant put it all back together...

Hmm... Should i mount the VIAIR 380 Compressor here?

ok.. enough work for one night.... more to come...

^ Well.. i could have went the easy route and just drilled a hole and ran all the wiring and hoses under the car... but i decided to do it the correct way and run everything inside... yea.. stripping all the interior was a pain in the a**
