I just bought this I S250 C convertible. I seem to remember there was an antenna on the right rear fender. Notice the picture. Where the black dot is there was a antenna.

Does it retract or has someone unscrewed it and stolen it? I have noticed the a.m. radio does not come in very clearly. If the antenna retracts how does one to fix it? It was probably taken off/removed. The antenna does not retract, it screws on/off. You can buy a replacement antenna off amazon, most people tend to get those since they are a lot smaller in length and does stick out like the OEM does.

 

Wow, some SOB stole it! Thanks for the tip about Amazon. I’ll make sure I can’t be unscrewed in the future! Amazing. They might make it like that so it can be stolen. Do you happen to know the thread size that screws in there? Thanks!

 

I got a Replacement antenna from eBay For five dollars. I’m going to Apoxsee the threads so nobody can steal it! Thanks for your help!
