I'm confused by your set up. if you used TE calipers, why use pads not meant for it? unless the TE calipers are the same as the R35. Also, the oem lug bolts for the is5 are M14 and not M12.

he is trying to avoid high costs for the TE pads. They are about $2200-2500 for a set.
understood...my question is are R35 pads suitable subs for TE calipers as far as fitment size and shape; the reason my asking if the TE and R35 calipers are exactly the same (p/n or stock number).

I used Track Edition pads on my track edition calipers with the GTR Rotors for my GSF until I have the cash for the CC OEM Track Edition Rotors. I had to do a minor mod on the pad because the hats a larger in shape and the pads were hitting the inner hat perimeter.
I’ve got the full track edition cc rotors on my IS 500 and RCF but didn’t have an addition 11k for rotors for the GSF at this time, I’ll do it later.
Apologies if this has been discussed, but I'm having a hard time finding anything via search. Have we concluded why the stock Enkeis require spacers to clear the Brembos, whereas the BBSs with the exact same specs can without? I'm considering getting Braelin BR10s (BR10-1985-65GM+35C601) 19x8.5 +35 as winter tires, but wondering if these will also require spacers. Thanks in advance!
So it appears that the brakes on the UE has a LOT of grip from what I was told
Definitely interested in your experience with them. The design of the Enkeis do not appear to play well with other set ups, so I just upgraded the pads for now. But the AKEBONO ProAct Premium Ceramics and for the most part they are fantastic. They’re just chirpy as hell. (I can hear a slight chirp/squeak at low speeds, when that wasn’t the case with OEM. However, the pads are overall better.)

Nooooo Tony! Those are the pads I just took off after only a few thousand miles!
More noisy that stock and less grip. At high speeds, more pressure did not equal more stopping power and it was scary at times.

Oh Jesus, wished I asked beforehand. 🤦🏽♂️
The OEMs felt wooden, but these don’t so far. I’ve only had them for two months and couldn’t test them out on the mountains. We’ll see how long I keep’em!
They are fine for putting around town, but definitely not geared towards performance. Something like Hawk HP+ or one of the compounds from G-loc brakes if you want performance, is my recomendation.

huge fan of G-LOC pads. they are amazing even the GS1 street ones. quiet and perform well
I've run r12 front and r10 for rears on track and they have done great.
yea i had some of the R6's on my NSX and IS350 and they were sick. Incredible bite but a bit noisy and dusted like mad..... They dont last that long either but you can't beat their performance.
