So I’ve got a deposit on the MOL VIN -3312, and looks like only nine more MOL VIN’s after that—does that mean that only nine more were produced after the one I have a deposit on?

Updated the 2023 tab to list 600 VINs per column instead of 200 to reduce the requirement of side scrolling and to make my equations look slightly less ridiculous when editing

For those pessimistic about the fate of ICE engines, I’ve come across a quite a few interesting videos on YouTube about Exxon Mobile, Toyota and Porsche collaborating on creating eFuels that burn much cleaner and are “chemically the same” as gasoline. Now, they say that the current problem with the roll out of this is the cost. And @ approximately $20/gal ircc, it initially seems hopeless, but it’s because it’s still experimental and very new, so it’s still very low supply and high demand. But once they build enough supply and retrofit the current refineries as well as build new ones, the cost should drop to something reasonable. So there may still be hope left for the V6, V8 and even V10 N/A engines. And hopefully the next version of the IS500 won’t only come as an EV or a hybrid.

That's exciting! The cars weren't produced in any particular order, but it means their aren't many more new Moltens left to be claimed.

Dang - I feel less special now that I see my combo is the most popular one (lol) - That is OK, I am still 1 of 3 IS 500 in the Maritime provinces (of Canada) so I am at least special in that sense :)

Is there a way to include MSRP to determine how many cars have the base Enkei wheels and how many have the BBS? Amazing effort, thanks for putting this together.
I own a 2001 S2000 and had seen that spreadsheet before. My car is 1 of 1170 that year. ❤️ |

As for the debate on wheels I wanted my car in Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 or Infrared with the silver Enkei's. I still prefer the silver Enkei's over the dark ones. I'm not really into dark wheels as they have less "detail" and sort of blend in with the tires. I do however like that the BBS are a more simple design (split 7 spoke) versus the crossing over dual 5 spoke design of the Enkei's. Both look great though and like the IS 350 wheels available Lexus has some really great styles to choose from here. On this model you can go any way you want and make a great choice. The BBS are a little lighter and do look great so I have warmed up to them. I have yet to see any other wheel in person besides the BBS on the IS 500.

Those are the ones I want! I passed on a Caviar / Black because it had the BBS. My salesperson calls the Enkei wheels "ghetto." And you thought "base" was bad...lol
