Hope someone chimes in for you, I don't have them installed or used them before so I don't really know. I just know you don't want to be that guy that has a wheel fly off on the road .

I have BONOS 10mm all around, hubcentric with the lip. Sits flush against the hub. The spacer lip extends beyond the hub and the wheel sits on that.

I’ll check them out, thanks!

Spacers come with different center bore hole diameters. We need 60.1 hub centric spacers for the wheel to sit flush on the lip of the spacer.

yup, added that these were 60.1 hub centric in a later post. But this could be helpful for people to be aware of even if they buy generic 60.1 bore spacers.

anyone else who has lowered this car felt the rear get looser? It’s like under steer gone but I’ll take a sharp turn at a red light for example and feel the *** slide out. I have swift springs and 15/20 mm spacers.

Emailed bonos and received the response below. Hopefully save someone else from my mistake: “Newest IS models have a little higher hub axle height, Front hub lip is 14.3mm/Rear hub lip is 14.8mm, so that Front can only fit minimum 15mm hubcentric spacers and Rear can fit minimum 20mm.

That is weird...I have 10mm BONOS spacers all around and they sit flush against the rotors.

Someone please help me out, because I'm not understanding.

I've gone through the entire thread and watched a few YouTube videos and I keep seeing conflicting info. One YouTube video said the factory rims essentially use bolts that screw into the hub from the outside. Yet I see people here talking about replacing studs and I see people having lugnuts and the pic a few posts up clearly shows studs.

So which is it? Is it a bolt from the outside that simply screws into the hub? Or are there studs that a nut from the outside screws onto?

Sorry...for a little background I don't own an IS500 so I can't just go look. Mine is supposed to be here in Dec so I'm trying to get parts now so theyre ready for install day 1.

The IS500 with the BBS comes with Porsche style lug bolts; that is you screw the lug bolts onto the hub. I believe the Enkeis are the same as well. The studs that you see in some pics are conversions from the lug bolt style that some do to accommodate some aftermarket rims.

Found this too late. I got H&R 7mm spacers and ran in to the same issue. Hub flange is too long and the spacers won’t fit flush against it.

I’ve got the bonos 15mm/20mm spacers showing up today and the H&R 15mm. Will try to test fit them all this weekend and post my findings.

If you just like a lower stance look with some improvements in cornering stability, then springs are the way to go. If u want much improved cornering flatness, then coilovers are the way to go. With that said, I went with Swift Springs. Nice, evenly lowered stance that makes the IS500 look proper, yet helped with cornering stability to some extent.
