I just weighted the OEM BBS wheels. While I'm not surprised by the weight [i find OEM forged wheels tend to be heavier anyways], I am surprised that the front and rear are nearly identical in weight! [and yes, i double checked the width to make sure it was front and rear haha]

EDITED [UPDATED WEIGHT so that it's just the bare wheel. TPMS Sensor, Wheel Weights, and Center cap removed]:
Reading from 50lbs package scale:
Front: 28lbs 9oz
Rear: 28lbs 9.2oz

Bathroom weight also read 28.4lbs

Weight below is with TPMS sensors

Reading from 50lbs package scale:
Front: 28lbs-11.1oz
Rear: 28lbs-11.4oz

Just to make sure readings were somewhat accurate, i took a bathroom scale both read at 28.4lbs
That is interesting. I suppose without the TPMS it might push them just below 28 lbs. but who knows how much. If you feel up to weighing them again without TPMS I'd be curious but it does give us a good idea that there are a few pounds still to lose in the aftermarket. I would have expected more of a gap in weight with an inch of extra width of wheel in the rear. Thanks for everything you did here!

Weighed it again without the TPMS (which only weighs 0.8oz) and totally forgot to take account the wheels weights. Even then it's only around 2oz difference.

Bare wheel (no weights, no TPMS, no center cap)
Front: 28lbs 9oz
Rear: 28lbs 9.2oz

Were you able to fit these on the 500? I have a pair that I want to turn into winter wheels also!

Try them on to confirm if you have a pair, pretty sure specs wise they will fit, but you'll mostly need a lug stud conversion as finding flat washers lug bolts is hard.

Default Is500 tire

Would 19x8.5 + 35 wheels with 255/40r/19 tires fit the front of the is500 on stock suspension, and should that close most of the wheel gap? Also would a 275/35/19 fit on the stock rears, and how much wheel gap would that close?

I finally got my 2024 Infrared/White yesterday! Does anyone know if the lug bolts that come on the BBS Wheels are the same for the Enkei's? I have a set of Enkei's going on the car...

If you're talking about the factory Enkei wheels, they should be.

I have a dumb question but I've somehow managed to never buy aftermarket wheels for my cars. I'm trying to determine a desired look and am finding more pictures with wheel spacers on the IS500 than good photos of wheels with listed offsets. If our stock wheels are 19x9.5 +60 in the rear, is a 20mm spacer with the stock wheel the equivalent of a new 9.5in wheel with a +40 offset in the rear?

That is my understanding however I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm mistaken.

Winter is coming. I'm bumping this thread as it seems to be a good long running spec discussion, but I found discussion in another thread here:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...r-is500-8.html

So i picked out these quotes about 18x8 fitment

I am looking at same Fast PF04 wheel, but wanted to clarify - the offset on their website is +40 @Answer
Either way, +40 or +35 (pushed out even further 5mm) would fit according to this calculator

When I get them I'll report back.

I'd need to find my invoice, but they might be +40...

I have the FC04s. 19x8.5 front +35 mm, and 19x9.5 rear +35 mm. Clears brakes, and you have enough rubber for the sidewalls.
