I had a bittersweet moment after detailing mine this evening as I could be potentially part ways with it by mid week. That being said, I am leaning more toward the suggestion that TGPCanada said where I will get a 2026 IS 350 and keep my current 500 but who knows. I am sitting at 17 500 km (10 800 miles) and it is nice to be sitting at freezing and still have a warm cozy place to pamper my baby.

Looks fantastic. And if you get the 26 IS350 that'll be your everyday car keeping the mileage runs low on the 500. The 500 will hold its value extremely well and the number of 500's that exist in the Maritimes where you live - you can probably count on 1 hand.
^^ Thanks!! Yeah, I may lease the 350 in case they come out with a more powerful variant in 2027 or 2028 and surprise us again. It is easy to get out of a lease with my dealer as we have such a good relationship and longevity of car purchases. I am excited about Wednesday but at this point, I fear there are more negatives than positives.
Positive - exterior colour, dual colour interior, great engine and serialised unit
negative - wheel design/colour, same interior layout, 2 tone steering wheel
By going with the 2026 IS 350 and keeping my 500, I love the wheel design better on that one, the exterior colour is available, the dual colour interior is better implemented.
I am going with an open minded approach and I could be totally floor by the UE but just a few more days to find out.
FWIW, the '26 IS is expected to run 2-3 years as a holdover until the full next gen car arrives. IS 350/IS 300h only, no 500 or F planned. Lexus streamlined the production run to just two models to finish the car out since it really is just a holdover until the next gen, which has been delayed.
The 3rd gen IS has lived a long life, but no doubt the IS 500 UE will be one of the most special and desirable: Last V8 RWD Lexus sedan ever, limited run, special edition colors, the list goes on. I can't imagine passing on that for an IS 350 -- which has essentially been the same powertrain/car for 14 years with numerous rounds of aesthetic updates.
GT3 IMO is the best Porsche out there . An absolute monster, made for the pure enthusiasts - 6 speed manual, RWD, NA engine. I rented one many years back and it was an absolute blast to drive.
Also, went to a local Cool Cruisers of GA car show and entered the IS 500 for giggles. I didn't expect to win anything, just wanted to make the donation.
Excuse the filthy car, but this is Canada winter mode.
For those wondering 18x8+40 Fast wheels, confirmed in another thread by couple members. I chose gold color for some more fun look, I think it looks good on black, contrast yay. When it gets more filthy, it won't pop as much, but my family and friends will easily recognize me (after they hear me from a distance first of course)
Wife rolled eyes and said, next time please consult with me on your color choices. NOPE.
