Yesterday's mountain fun run was a blast... There's no better way I can think of to really have to push our cars than to chase something like an Evora GT on a back road, and chase we did. Though that thing was a beast, it was pretty fun reeling it in on straights. Well, I'm sure it was fun for @DLPTony - I was behind him, and he was behind the driver of the Evora (named Jonathan). Best of all, Jonathan and everyone else there was just great. We had fun just chatting and later eating out. I can't wait for the next one.
Finally joined the N/A V8 club this week. This car is a beast.
That is some awesome photography. Welcome aboard. It's funny - my standard response to the question "how do you like the car?" : It's a beast, pure and simple. LOL.

Crazy busy last few days, I’m exhausted but enjoyed taking a few moments to wash Bluey here. Finally had the windows tinted 25% all around. Came out great.
I’ve never considered purchasing a red car before, always been a blue guy, but good lord this is beautiful! Great picture!
I can say it's been night and day between this and my prior cloudburst grey 350 in terms of the attention and compliments. Half of whom have no idea what kind of car this is, much less trying to explain to them the 500 vs. 350/300 thing . Everyone from a kid on the street (who's backpack was larger than him) hollering at me that he really likes my car to a lady (who I swear was 80+) saying to her friends at a street corner bench what a nice colour that car that just went by had. But this IS500 is such a well sculpted beast that it looks incredible in any colour. Even brown would work on the IS500.

All of this. My iS 500 in Infrared gets like 2000% more attention than my Iridium silver IS 350 did. And, I enjoy the color myself a lot, even if I did truly like Iridium.
I tend to agree, don’t care much at all for the current generation of styling from BMW. I would argue the Honda Accord actually has better styling. The 3/5 is so bland, like a VW Jetta or Passat. Switch over to their more exciting models and I can’t even begin to understand what they did to the M2 — I’m sure it’s an incredible driving experience but it is hideous.
A few years ago I was bent on a used M4 comp, like the 2018-2020, with the 6MT. Peak style in my opinion for their modern day lineup. Just so sleek and sexy, all the right lines. Not a bad angle to be found. Came close to pulling the trigger more than once but just never found the right one.
