Being a 500 owner for a mere 4 days after spending 2 years in a 21 350, my opinion is the 500 is not simply a 350 with a bigger, badder engine. The 500 is more brutal, more visceral in many ways. As strange as this may sound, I can "feel" the RWD setup compared the AWD in my 350. The handling is sharper, the exhaust much nastier, etc. etc. For those who have a 350 and are on the fence about trading up and can swing it financially, gotta go for it. This just my first impressions and I'm still in the break-in period. Don't think I've gone higher than 4000 rpms yet.
Ooh that’s really interesting to read! I thought the 500 was brutal as well and I came from the RWD 8 Speed. I can only imagine the difference from the AWD’s 6 speed. Keep sharing! 😜

What about those that have only been in their 350 for 6 mos.? Asking for a friend.
Seriously though, thanks for sharing. I’ve had a deposit on a mid-May 500 for a week now and I’ve spent most of the past 2 days thinking I should bail on the deposit. But maybe you have (re)encouraged me… we’ll see!
Did some black ppf film, stuff is a perfect match to the black plastics on the car. I may ppf the whole rear diffuser, although my fingers crossed on a carbon creation from Tom's
I'm not sure why lexus choose to leave the chrome on the mirror caps.

Interesting! Is the mirror trim the black PPF as well? If so what brand and product. Please share!
Fantastic! Been looking into exact same thing, was curious about why the chrome trim on the mirrors when everything else is either gloss black or black chrome or whatever.

I like the black chrome. Obviously, the gloss black is a better fit than bright chrome, and I guess re-doing the mirrors in black chrome may not be trivial.

Just the chrome section, I'll do the rest in either clear or the same black. It's a tough piece to wrap without disassembly, these mirrors are well put together the gaps are all very tight.
Ordered off ebay from carwrapoutlet no name product just search black ppf film.
