Came across a smoking deal on the Apexi Mid-Pipe Non-Resonated a week ago. Arrived quickly and I got an appointment tomorrow to get it installed!! The system will be all stock, otherwise.

Congrats!
Please post sound clips before and after.
I'm curious hear what just a mid pipe sounds like compared to stock.
The fit and finish of the Midpipe is great. In my opinion this is how the car should have sounded from the factory. I am glad I went with the non-resonated. Dare I say I wish it was just a bit louder. It’s very enjoyable with the windows down!
One note: I drove home after the install and later in the day the dreaded CEL and Parking Brake error came on. Went back to the shop and we installed the factory gasket on top of the Apexi one and we cleared the codes and re torqued everything. It looks like the Apexi gasket may not be enough alone. If the codes come up again, may need to buy new factory gaskets and put those on. Not sure if anyone else has installed this or how they did it, your advice would be appreciated!
I will get a video up here within the next 2 hours, I want to do a cold start.
Nice and clean With factory gasket This is without the factory gasket, could leave room for leaks

Wow looks so clean, congrats dude!
Can't wait to hear it. How much louder than stock would you say it is?
Why even bother? The OEM gaskets have been known to fix the problem. It’s been well-discussed here. @Fman2118
If the codes come up again, next would be to buy new OEM gaskets. Then if that doesn't work, we can look into aftermarket. Let's hope we don't have to go there though!
As far as compared to stock, it's louder for sure. Inside the car it sounds real nice, not too loud (the Lexus is well insulated) and no drone at all at highway speeds. When I drive by walls or underpasses I floor it and it sounds amazing!!
the exhaust air will pass through the midpipe smoothly but will go back to the crushed sections of the oem axle back. i'm not sure if the diameter of the oem axle back is smaller, but if they are causing some restriction on the way out. in theory, this may result more back pressure and maybe more tq?
